CHEEKTOWAGA — Cheektowaga Police are asking the public to help identify a man they say withdrew money from an ATM belonging to another person.
According to CPD, the individual shown was walking by an automated teller machine on Aug. 28 just after someone had used it. “A victim had left a debit card in the ATM. This person walked by and heard the beeps on the ATM with the prompt ‘would you like another transaction?’ so the person took it upon himself to make six transactions totaling $3,600.”
Police ask that anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Officer Kukoleca at 716-686-7440.
