Judith (nee Longley) Rossow, 76, of Wheatfield, NY, died on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born on July 4, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Hilda (Scott) Longley.

Judy, as she was known to family and friends, attended local schools.  In 1958, she graduated from Niagara Falls High School and later earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from Buffalo State College.  Judy was employed as a Special Education Teacher for the Niagara Wheatfield School District, until she retired in 1999.  She served as a volunteer for the Darwin Martin House. Judy enjoyed attending luncheons with the NFHS Class of 1958 Reunion Committee and loved the theatre, gardening, decorating and her predeceased dogs, Sandy and Boomer

Judy is survived by three children, Heidi Adams, Holly (Michael) Beecher and Scott (Lyndsy) Adams; seven grandchildren, Riley, Alyssa, Aiden, Katie, Michael, Lara and Dex; one brother, Leonard (Janelle) Longley; one niece and her children and friends, Geri Lemieux and Marty and Tony Troia.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Victor Rossow and one daughter, Stephanie Adams.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 10th from 8-10 a.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 10:00 a.m.  Prayers of committal and entombment will be held privately in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Rosewood Atrium, Buffalo, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
