CLYMER — A 62-year-old Clymer man was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct by New York State Police.

According to NYSP, Troopers responded to a residence in Clymer for a report of a disturbance, and found that Martin Winkler was harassing his tenants to the point the police had to be called. Throughout the investigation, Winkler remained hostile and uncooperative despite multiple requests to cease his disruptive behavior, and was placed under arrest after he struck a trooper with a set of keys.

Winkler was transported to SP Jamestown, issued an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Clymer Court later in the month to answer the charge.
