CLARENCE — New York State Police have revealed that the shooting victim from Sunday night’s robbery at Zoe Restaurant was the restaurant’s owner, Alexander J. Pozantidis.

Police say Pozantidis, 44, was closing and leaving with the proceeds from the day around 11:05 p.m. when he was robbed and shot twice in the arm in the process, sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation are currently following up on leads and conducting numerous interviews relative to the incident.  Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to call (716)-759-6831.

This is still an active and ongoing investigation.  No further information will be released at this time.
