HARRISONBURG, Va. — The James Madison University class of 2020 was welcomed to campus this month. The incoming freshman class hails from 33 states, the District of Columbia and 19 countries around the world. Seven are from Western New York.

- Megan Marsh of Bemus Point, whose major is health sciences.
- Aubree Gross of Hamburg, whose major is intelligence analysis.
- Abigail Jones of Penfield, whose major is interdisciplinary liberal studies.
- Courtney Zaucha of Pittsford, whose major is nursing.
- William Tompkins of Grand Island, whose major is statistics.
