STOW — A 26-year-old Erie, Pa. man was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-86.
According to New York State Police, Michael Schaut was pulled over for a traffic violation. While being interviewed, Troopers smelled marijuana, which they subsequently found behind his passenger seat during a probably cause search.
Schaut was was issued tickets for the traffic violation and the marijuana possession and was released, to appear in the Town of North Harmony Court next month.
