NEWSTEAD — New York State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened on State Route 5 and Barnum Road on Friday.
According to preliminary findings by NYSP, a motorcycle traveling west on State Route 5 struck the driver’s side of a van who was crossing from Barnum Road south to North Millgrove Road. The operator of the motorcycle was flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC where he is in stable condition. The driver of the van was uninjured.
The accident is still under investigation.
