BUFFALO — Buffalo’s Central Terminal is playing host this weekend to the Carnival of Parahorror, a three-day paranormal and horror “super show” making its highly anticipated return to the Queen City.

If you like ghosts, Halloween, scary movies, monsters, haunted places, Jason Vorhees, and anything and everything curious, odd, and weirdly wonderful…then the Carnival of Parahorror at Central Terminal is where you’ll want to spend your weekend.

Beginning at 5 p.m. and running through 4 p.m. Sunday, event elements include celebrity guests from movies and TV, contests for cash and prizes, artist installations, film screenings, relevant merchants and vendors, games and rides for the youngsters, photo ops, door prizes, costumed characters, refreshments, and more.

Guests include George Wilbur (Michael Myers in Halloween 4, 5 and 6), Bob Elmore, Eugene Clark, Jim Wojcik, John Steadman, Greg Lamberson, John Renna, Corvis Nocturnum, Monster Matt Patterson, Ivy Rivera, Amy Lis, and “underground Buffalo rap group” Kamp Crystal Lake.

Daily tickets are $10 online or $15 at the door. Hours are 5 – 9 p.m. today, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday. Check the full schedule here.
