Theresa A. Grace of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in the Briody Health Care Facility, Lockport, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Daniel and Gertrude [Downey] Grace.
Ms Grace attended Sacred Heart School and later was a member of the Church’s Altar and Rosary Society. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Ms Grace was an avid Yankees and Notre Dame fan.
She is survived by three brothers William (Mary Lou) Grace, John (Neva) Grace and Richard (Robin Haskell) Grace, two sisters Katherine (late Duane) Strong and Mary (Leonard) Guslawski and was the sister in law of Sondra Grace, Karen Grace, Patricia Grace and Stan Empson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ms Grace was the sister of the late Bridget Empson, Robert, Daniel, Thomas and Jerome Grace.
Her family will be present on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 9:30 AM at St. Raphael Parish, 3840 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff at Briody’s for all of the loving care they extended to their sister.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of ones choice.
Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
