NIAGARA FALLS — A 31-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged early this morning with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on the I-90.

According to New York State Police, Kevin King was stopped for speeding and swerving on the expressway around 12:05 a.m. After being pulled over, he was determined to be intoxicated. He was then found to have a .14 percent blood alcohol content.

During processing, Troopers found approximately 16 grams of marijuana on King, leading to the possession charge.

He was issued tickets returnable to City of Niagara Falls Court.
