BUFFALO — Craft beer lovers should be pleased with the line-up of breweries and beer selections for the 15th annual Buffalo Brewfest in the Historic Cobblestone District.

The event, which started at 5 p.m., runs until 9:30 p.m. in  the area between the First Niagara Center and Seneca Buffalo Casino with Perry Street, Illinois Street, South Park Avenue and Michigan Street serving as its boundaries.

Last year, the event attracted 1,600 people and more than 30 brewers. The Buffalo Brewfest also features raffles, fundraising and live music, with an after party at Buffalo Iron Works.

Tickets are still available for $35, which includes 20 tasting coupons (each tasting is three ounces for beer) and a souvenir glass.

All proceeds from the 2016 Buffalo Brewfest will benefit Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center. Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center, a not-for-profit organization, is a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center for children and adults with speech-language and hearing problems. The Center employs more than 300 staff members, including full and part time licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Teachers and Teacher Aides.
