BUFFALO — Saturday morning, the rooftop of the Broadway Market will be filled with some sketchy people. No. Wait. That’s sketching people.

Urban Sketchers Buffalo, a group of artists of all disciplines and experience levels, have chosen the rooftop of the Broadway Market in the heart of Historic Polonia for their fifth Sketchmeet, inviting members to make art on location atop the east side building from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Views from the roof of the Market are 360 degrees — with numerous church spires, the Central Terminal, and other Buffalo landmarks.

Artist, historian and preservation activist, and group founder Dana Saylor will be present to chat with attendees and fellow artists.
