ROCHESTER — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 19-year-old from Fairport on felony charges of making a terrorist threat.
Deputies have arrested Kyle Gorden after an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office, the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fairport Police Department. The investigation revealed that Gorden had told individuals he was going to attack a school at a future date. {Police say Gorden admitted to creating a list of items that included bomb making materials, ammunition and knives and admitted to procuring many of the items on the list.
Investigators also learned that Gorden has actively been seeking to obtain a gun. The investigation is ongoing.
