CHEEKTOWAGA — Western New York’s Best Beer Selection award goes to an establishment with “Beer” right in the title — The Walden Galleria’s World of Beer.
This place takes their beer seriously, boasting 50 beers on tap and 500 “in the cooler.” They’re also pushing to include the “Beer Mile” in the Olympics. While we think it might be a publicity stunt, it’s worth noting, they’re offering $5 off your bill to anyone who signs the petition to get it added to the Games. So whether it’s a publicity stunt or as they call it, a bribe, it’s obviously working.
The World of Beer is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
