LOCKPORT — The weekly Lockport Community Market, held on Canal Street each Saturday, continues to grow.
New vendors this week include Leonard Oakes Winery, SewMe Creations (handmade items), and Designs by Leenay (unique earrings).
Local musician David Stockton will entertain attendees from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the gazebo, followed by Jeff Krull, who will bring acoustic jams to the market. From noon until 12:30 p.m. the market will also have an AWARE demonstration, followed by a cooking demonstration by EatSmart NY at 1 p.m.
For those who choose to start their Saturdays early, morning yoga will be taught Rebecca Strong at 7 a.m. Classes, designed for all ages and experience levels, are held at the Canal Street gazebo. Participants are asked to bring a mat, blanket or towel and a water bottle.
The Lockport Community Market is held each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. through Oct. 8.
