SPRINGVILLE — A 30-year-old Cattaraugus man was stopped by Erie County Sheriff’s deputies on Waverly Road Tuesday night and charged with multiple drug charges, as well as unlawful driving.
According to ECSO, Jason Ovitt was found to have 10 active driving suspensions when he was pulled over around 10:30 p.m. When deputies placed him in custody, they report finding a crack pipe and a small amount of cocaine, as well as some marijuana.
Ovitt’s charges include four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possession of marijuana and a vehicle and traffic violation.
Ovitt was taken to the holding center pending his arraignment.
