NEWFANE — A 54-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Monday with DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Ridge Road.

According to New York State Police, Dezsi Sands was stopped by New York State Police for failing to maintain lane and speeding. While interviewing Sands, Troopers determined he was intoxicated. He was also found to be in possession of “a small amount of marijuana.”
