PORT MAITLAND, Ont. — The body of a missing 37-year-old Canadian man was found in Lake Erie Thursday.
Giuseppe Reinhart had gone missing on July 26 and his boat washed up in Hamburg on the same day. The U.S. and Candian Coast Guards and multiple police agencies from both countries embarked on a three-day search for Reinhart.
A fisherman saw a body floating in the lake this morning and called Ontario Provincial Police, who identified the body as Reinhart.
Foul play is not suspected and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
