LEWISTON — A Miami, Fla. man was arrested Wednesday morning while attempting to cross the Lewiston-Queenston bridge.
New York State Police say Roberto Carlos Baldoquin Milan was detained at approximately 6:58 a.m. on an outstanding warrant for forgery and several counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument out of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
Milan was also found to possess a forged driver’s license in a different name, a forged credit card and numerous forged personal checks with a total value of approximately $33,000.
He was arraigned in the Town of Lewiston Court and remanded to the Niagara County jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail. The investigation is continuing into other possible crimes to which he may be associated.
