LOCKPORT — A 25-year-old Lockport man was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on South Transit Street.

According to New York State Police, Colton Balcerzak was stopped for speeding and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Lockport Troopers’ barracks, where he was found to have a .10 percent blood alcohol content.

Balcerzak was processed and released to reappear in Lockport Court in later this month.
