BUFFALO — A 47-year-old Buffalo woman pleaded guilty to third-degree grand larceny, admitting to stealing over $10,000 from an elderly woman.
According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., Michelle Sanders of Leonard Street admitted that from October to February, while she was a caregiver for a 94-year-old Amherst woman, she stole $10,433.50 by using the elderly woman’s ATM card without permission or authority.
Sanders faces up to 7 years in jail when she is sentenced on Oct. 4. She also has also agreed to make full restitution.
