BUFFALO — A 44-year-old Buffalo man pleaded guilty on Friday to first-degree manslaughter, admitting to shooting a man on Sept. 12.

According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., Victor Irizarry, shot 28-year-old Nicholas Jozens of Buffalo in the abdomen around 4:30 a.m. Sept. 12 near 1960 Clinton St.

Irizarry faces a maximum of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced on Aug. 31.
