BUFFALO — The Seattle-based electronic act Assemblage 23 will headline an Oct. 4 show at Mohawk Place with Standard Issue Citizen, Optic Oppression, and Soul Reactor.

Assemblage 23 has evolved since its debut album “Contempt” 10 years ago. “Endure,” the one-man project’s eighth album remains a work-in-progress, supported by an IndieGoGo campaign. It is set to be released on Aug. 28, meaning it will likely be featured heavily in the Mohawk Place show.

The band’s last fully-released album, “Bruise,” features stompy anthems such as “The Noise Inside My Head” and “Over and Out” with lyrical genius on tracks like “The Last Mistake,” “The Other Side of the Wall” and “Talk Me Down.” Although A23’s signature sound is still evident, the band took cues from electro-house, post-punk, and the indie electronics scene.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Mohawk Place show. Tickets are on sale now at TicketFly.com for $12.
