PORTER — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of those involved in a fatal crash at Dickersonville and Youngstown-Wilson Road Friday evening.
The driver of the westbound vehicle on Youngstown-Wilson Road, who was pronounced deceased at St. Mary’s Hospital, has been identified as Michael G. Willimot, 38 years old, of Wilson. The driver of the northbound vehicle on Dickersonville Road has been identified as Michael A. Buchalski II, 22 years old, of Wilson.
According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 6:09 p.m. when a Buchalski’s vehicle on Dickersonville Road passed through the stop sign at Youngstown-Wilson Road without stopping, striking Willimot’s vehicle.
Buchalski was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center, while the two juvenile passengers in Willimot’s vehicle were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo by ambulance for treatment. Willimot was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.
