WEST SENECA — Nearly half the NYSEG customers in West Seneca are suffering from a lack of electricty — as are a number of traffic signals in the community.
According to NYSEG, 8,772 of the 20,803 customers in West Seneca are without power. Additionally, 44 customers in Orchard Park are powerless.
The outage is anticipated to be restored by 4:15 p.m., according to the electric company. A reason for the outage has not been announced.
