TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 43-year-old Lockport woman was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated after driving into a ditch.
According to New York State Police, Lori Smith drove off the roadway and into a ditch in front of Tops on Chestnut Road. When Troopers arrived, they determined her to be impaired.
Smith was taken to the Lockport Troopers barracks, where she was found to have a .19 percent blood alcohol content. She was processed and released with orders to return to Town of Lockport Court later this month.
