ALLEGANY — A 24-year-old Olean woman was charged Tuesday with petit larceny, accused of stealing items from Walmart.
According to New York State Police, Samantha M. Cossairt was detained by Walmart loss prevention as she attempted to leave the store with $51.56 worth of merchandise concealed under her clothing.
Troopers responded and arrested Cossairt, who was processed at SP Olean and issued an appearance ticket returnable in the Town of Allegany court.
