The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that INF Chris Colabello is scheduled to join the Buffalo Bisons on assignment when the Herd returns home Monday for the start of a seven-game homestand.

Colabello is currently rehabbing with Single-A Dunedin of the Florida State League. He has doubled in both games he’s played, going 2-7 with an RBI.
The Bisons will host the Norfolk Tides on Monday (7:05 p.m.) for the first game of a three-game series. The Herd will then welcome the Gwinnett Braves to Coca-Cola Field from Thursday though the weekend.
Colabello opened the 2015 season with the Bisons and hit .337 with five home runs and 18 RBI to be named the International League Player of the Month for April. He spent the rest of the season with the Blue Jays, hitting .321 with 15 home runs and 54 RBI in 101 games, helping Toronto to an American League East Division title.
