Pump prices continue to fall across the nation and locally in Western New York with the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline at $2.23 per gallon. The New York State average is $2.40 per gallon, two cents down from last week. A year ago, the NYS average was $2.94.
In Buffalo, the cost per gallon is at $2.38 this week, down two cents from a week ago. Rochester gas prices average $2.23, down three cents from a week ago.
