BUFFALO — Two Ryan Street residents are facing charges after New York State Police executed a search warrant at what they believed was a meth lab in the men’s home.

According to NYSP, as a result of a joint investigation with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Police Special Investigations Unit (Buffalo), and Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) the search warrant was executed on JWednesday morning. As a result of the search warrant the following individuals were arrested:

Matthew D. McCarthy, 55, of 32 Ryan St., upper apartment was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material. He was held pending arraignment in City of Buffalo court.

Antony A. McCarthy, 54, also of 32 Ryan St., upper apartment, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear City of Buffalo court at a later date.
