David R. Johnston passed away June 29, 2016. He was the owner of D & M Local Delivery Service retiring June 1, 2004. David enjoyed friendly conversations at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
Predeceased by his wife Mary P. Johnston in 2015. Beloved father of Michele (Larry Eisenhauer) Johnston. Cherished grandfather of Irving Burkhardt Jr. Dear brother of Willis Johnston, Marion Mills and the late Forbes Johnston and Loretta Schultz; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
No prior visitation. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, at 10:00 am at the Salvation Army In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
