WEST SENECA — The 35th Annual Queen of Heaven Carnival will kick off at 4 p.m. Thursday with a Super Cruz at the Queen of Heaven Parish grounds on Seneca Street and Mill Road.

The carnival will begin in earnest on Friday at 6 p.m. with with amusement rides and attractions, a large theme basket raffle, free entertainment including live bands, children’s magic shows, as well as games of skill and chance. It will run until midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
Featured dinners include fish or shrimp on Friday, and chicken or ribs on Sunday. They will be served in the air-conditioned parish center, or take-out is available.
Free entertainment includes:
- The Boneshakers Band: Thursday – 6 to 10 p.m.
- Jeremy Hoyle & The Strictly Hip: Friday – 7 p.m. to midnight
- Magic Show w/ Ted Burzinski: Saturday – 2 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m.
- Joe Shanahan Guitarist, Singer: Saturday 3 to 5 p.m.
- Hit’N Run Band: Saturday – 7 p.m. to midnight
- Nick Battistella “Sinatra Crooner and more”: Sunday – 2 to 3:30 p.m.
- The Boneshakers Band: Sunday – 5 to 10 p.m.
The Gambling Tent will feature a Big Nine Wheel, Over & Under Table, Blackjack, Beat the Dealer and Poker Card Wheel. The Pull Tab Nevada Booth will feature .25 cent and $1.00 Bell Jar tickets.
