A tweet this morning from the Twitter account of Buffalo real-estate developer and Donald Trump surrogate Carl Paladino appears to call for the lynching of Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

The 10 a.m. tweet says “Lynch @LorettaLynch let a Grand Jury decide.” It has since been deleted and followed up with “@LorettaLynch let a Grand Jury decide.”

A screen capture of the original, however, was shared to Facebook by Alan Bedenko.

A question from WGRZ’s Michael Wooten asked why the tweet was deleted and if Paladino regretted it, receiving a response from Paladino’s Twitter account saying it was an error.

That didn’t stop several on Twitter from accusing Paladino of lying and/or being racist.

Lynch, of course, recently made the news for meeting with former President Bill Clinton, for which she was accused of collaborating with him in an effort to get his wife, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton off the hook for her FBI investigation into her private email use on classified matters. Lynch later said she would leave the decision to charge in the FBI’s hands.

Tuesday, the FBI announced no charges would be filed, which Paladino — or someone in his camp — also tweeted about: “The Washington establishment is alive & well. FBI’s Comey confirms Hillary is above the law @FBI @HillaryClinton”

This morning’s followup was presumably also in response to Tuesday’s announcement.
