BUFFALO — Buffalo police arrested two individuals on gun charges during a police checkpoint stop Tuesday evening.
The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Goodyear Avenue and Empire Street.
BPD strike force officers say during the checkpoint they located a loaded revolver in a backpack inside the vehicle.
Police arrested 20-year-old Levon Dickson of Buffalo and 24-year-old Shondale Fayson of Buffalo and charged them with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana, as well as vehicle and traffic infractions.
