
BUFFALO — A 49-year-old Buffalo man stands charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer and other charges following a Tuesday night incident in the Northwest District.
According to BPD, the incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. near Grant Street and Pooley Place when officers say the individual was driving the wrong way down Pooley Place at a high rate of speed as he attempted to evade officers.
Police say his actions put the public and officers in danger.
Police arrested John Cordova of Tonawanda and charged him with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, obstruction of government administration, reckless driving, and multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.
