BUFFALO — A 21-year-old Buffalo man was sentenced Monday to 18 1/2 years in prison for his involvement in four separate crimes dating back to September.

In May, Brandon Frontuto had pleaded guilty to the charges of second-degree attempted murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of third-degree attempted burglary.

According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., on Sept. 7, Frontuto burglarized a home in Cheektowaga. He then committed a robbery, shooting at an auto repair shop in Buffalo, injuring one victim on Nov. 13. The following day, he burglarized the Pierce Arrow building in Buffalo, stealing tools and other property. Finally, on Feb. 18, during a traffic stop by Buffalo Police, officers found an illegal shortened shotgun in Frontutu’s vehicle. He has been in custody since this incident.
