COLLINS — A 24-year-old Blasdell man was charged Sunday with drug possession after New York State Police say he was found with Xanax and marijuana.

According to NYSP, Nicholas P. O’Connor was stopped for speeding on State Route 39. During the traffic stop, he was found to be in possession of 200 Xanax pills and approximately 15 grams of marijuana.

His charged include third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and unlawful possession of marijuana.

O’Connor was arraigned before the Town of Collins court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending $10,000 cash bail/$20,000 bond.
