WELLSVILLE — A 37-year-old Wellsville man was charged Friday with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without an interlock device following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Adam C. Satterlee was stopped for failing to signal a turn. Troopers determined he was intoxicated, although he refused standard field sobriety tests.

He was taken to the Amity Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .24 percent blood alcohol content. A prior DWI conviction meant Friday’s charges were upgrateded to a felony.

Satterlee was released on tickets returnable to the Village of Wellsvile Court today.
