MACHIAS — A 56-year-old Machias man was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a fraffic stop on Hazelmere Avenue.
According to New York State Police, Nicholas D. Trbovich Jr. was stopped around 10:49 p.m. for having no headlights or tail lights. He was determined to be intoxicated and taken to the Machias Troopers’ barracks for processing, which he refused.
