PAVILION — A 20-year-old Pavilion man was charged with driving while intoxicated folllowing a Monday traffic stop on State Route 19.

According to New York State Police, Christopher W. Muhs was stopped for speeding and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to SP Batavia where he was found to have a .32 percent blood alcohol content — four times the legal limit.

Muhs was also charged with speeding and failing to notify of address change. He was issued an appearance ticket and a uniform traffic ticket, both returnable to the Town of Pavilion Court on Tuesday.
