BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Marine unit were busy this weekend, assisting four disabled vessels and issuing 24 summonses for speeding, registration, equipment violations, and one boating while intoxicated arrest.
According to ECSO, 53-year-old Mark Judd of Buffalo was stopped by Marine Unit deputies around 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the Niagara River near the Harbor Place Marina for operating without running lights. The deputies determined him to be intoxicated and charged him. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to be in Buffalo City Court on July 7.
