BUFFALO — For those counting down to the start of hockey, the announcement on Friday that the Buffalo Sabres will hold their development camp in just over two weeks has got to come as good news.
The annual summer camp will be held from July 6-12 at HARBORCENTER. On-ice camp sessions throughout the week will be open to the public with an intra-squad scrimmage set for July 9. Tickets will be required for the scrimmage with details on how to obtain them promised “at a later date.”
The camp will feature approximately 40 Sabres prospects, including the team’s 2016 NHL Draft picks, all of whom are scheduled to participate in camp. The full schedule and a preliminary development camp roster will be available in early July.
