BUFFALO — An 82-year-old woman who drove into a series of vehicles, a fire hydrant and a sign in the vicinity of Route 33 and Grider Street is in stable condition at ECMC where she is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Buffalo police say the woman backed her 2014 Ford 150 into a vehicle on East Delavan, before driving onto the 33 eastbound, striking two more vehicles then exiting onto Grider Street, where she struck a fire hydrant and sign. The sign reportedly went through the windshield of another vehicle. The woman’s truck then flipped after striking a tree and yet another vehicle.
The woman has not been charged as of this report.
