HUME — Fourty-year-old John A. Wesner, charged in May with second-degree course or sexual conduct against a child, second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare, has had additional charges levied against him by the New York State Police.
According to NYSP, as the result of continued investigation from from the incident involving a 12-year-old victim, Wesner has additionally been charged him with first-degree rape, first degree engaging in a course of sexual conduct, first-degree incest and first-degree sexual abuse.
Wesner was arraigned in Allegany County Court in front of Judge Thomas Brown and was remanded to the Allegany County Jail with no bail.
The State Police were assisted in the investigation by Allegany County Child Protective Services, Allegany County District Attorney’s Office and the NYSP Violent Felony Warrant Squad in SP Canandaigua.
