DUNKIRK — A Fredonia man was charged Friday with resisting arrest and first-degree criminal sexual act after allegedly having sexual contact with someone less than 11 years old.
According to New York State Police, Scott W. Pierce had sexual contact with the victim at a residence in the Town of Pomfret. Pierce was located on 3rd Street in the City of Dunkirk and resisted arrest when he was approached by police. City of Dunkirk Police responded and assisted with the arrest.
Pierce was processed at SP Fredonia, arraigned before Town of Pomfret Justice Anthony Pulci and was released to appear in Chautauqua County Probation on Monday.
