NIAGARA FALLS — A 47-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Pine Avenue.

According to New York State Police, Thurman T. James, III was stopped for a turn signal violation and operating an uninspected motor vehicle. NYSP determined James to be intoxicated and charged him with DWI. He was then taken to SP Niagara, where he was found to have a .25 percent blood alcohol content.

James was processed and issued appearance tickets returnable in the City of Niagara Falls court.
