JAMESTOWN — A pair of 22-year-old Frewsburg residents were charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container.

According to New York State Police, Michael Patterson Jr. and Courtney Lauer were found to be in possession of “multiple items of drug evidence, such as pills and syringes,” following a Windsor Street traffic stop.

The pair were arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court.  Patterson Jr. was additionally charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operatio, as his license was suspended.  Both suspects were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and are scheduled to appear in the City of Jamestown Court on a later date.
