Stake your claim to Bidwell Parkway on Tuesday — with a book.
Buffalo Reading Invasion returns to the city with its first event of 2016 at Bidwell, east of Elmwood.
The event — from 7 – 8 p.m. — asks participants to simply bring a book, maybe some friends, and a chair or blanket for some good old-fashioned reading outdoors.
The group’s website explains that “this isn’t a book club; just a time to come together, to enjoy the act of reading, and to remind our fellow Buffalonians that reading is an essential element of the many of our lives.”
