BUFFALO — The historic former Fairmont Creamery Company building located at 199 Scott St. will hold its formal grand opening on June 14, beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

Over the years, the eight-story structure, originally constructed as a cold storage facility, had also been the business address for iconic Buffalo companies Arctic Freezer Company and Rich Products. Today, the building boasts completion of a $14.6 million renovation completed in cooperation with the New York State Historic Preservation Office which included a new roof, new windows and a wholesale interior makeover while preserving its original charm and character that has adorned the Buffalo skyline since 1920.

Modern loft-style build-to-suit office space showcasing exposed brick walls and custom finishes surround commercial tenants including Pegula Sports & Entertainment, VSP Marketing Graphic, Match Marketing Group and Liazon Corporation. Contemporary elements and architectural appointments enhance three floors of upscale apartments, while the Mahony Restaurant welcomes tenants and guests at the building’s main entry.

The ribbon cutting will be followed by a one-hour open bar with hors d’oeuvres by the Mahony and an exclusive ticketed tour and tasting from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at http://www.ellicottdevelopment.com/thisisbuffalo-events/.
