WARSAW — Four men were charged Wednesday with committing crimes while inmates at Wyoming and Attica Correctional Facilities, according to the New York State Police.

Police say that 55-year-old Frank Pergola, who is currently housed at Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus, was charged with aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate. Police say Pergola threw feces onto staff at Wyoming Correctional Facility in Attica on Nov. 29 while serving a sentence for aggravated vehicular homicide out of Nassau County.

Twenty-four year old Randy Miller, of Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for an incident on Feb. 10, where prison officials say he was found to possess an edged plastic weapon. He is already serving a sentence for first-degree sexual abuse out of Niagara County.

Kevon Thomas, age 22, currently housed at Collins Correctional Facility, Collins, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree promoting prison contraband for a Feb. 18, 2016 incident where he was said to possess an edged metal weapon and multiple Suboxone strips on his person while in Wyoming Correctional Facility, Attica. Thomas was already serving a sentence for first-degree attempted robbery out of Queens County.

And 25-year-old Dequana White, currently housed at Southport Correctional Facility, Pine City, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon stemming from a Jan. 9  incident at Attica Correctional Facility, where he was reportedly engaged in mutual combat with another inmate and found to possess an edged metal weapon. White is serving a sentence for first-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault and third-degree burglary out of Niagara County.

All Inmates were arraigned in Wyoming County Court by Judge Michael M. Mohun and are to return to court in August.
